On September 12, 2023, Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 Pro smartphone. The smartphone sports a 6.10-inch touchscreen display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 460 ppi, and a resolution of 11792556 pixels. The 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal storage options of the iPhone 15 Pro are based on iOS 17. A dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) phone that takes Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards is the Apple iPhone 15 Pro. It was introduced in four different titanium color options: black, blue, natural, and white.
Overview of iPhone 15 Pro
Design
Unlike last year’s boxy edges, this year’s iPhones all feature a gently curved shape that doesn’t cut into the hand, and the Pro iPhones replace the alert switch with a new, customizable “Action Button.” Similar to its larger sibling, the iPhone 15 Pro has a titanium alloy body, which makes it both lighter and stronger than the iPhone 14 Pro. Not much has changed with the display. It also looks the same on paper as the iPhone 14 Pro from the previous year. You are looking at a 6.1-inch “Super Retina XDR” OLED display with 120Hz ProMotion and 2,000 nits of brightness. As needed, the LTPO screen may alternate between 1Hz and 120Hz.
Camera
All three lenses from last year’s models—the 12MP ultrawide, 12MP telephoto, and 48MP primary—are still available. On the front of the gadget, there is a 12MP selfie camera and a true depth sensor. But we must also keep in mind the software. It’s a wonderful feature to be able to add and adjust portrait blur by capturing depth data while taking pictures. Although wonderful, such a feature is not exclusive to 15 Pro models.
Performance
The iPhone 15 Pro will employ the brand-new A17 Pro CPU. For the previous two years, Apple has only allowed newer chipsets in its “Pro” iPhones. The 15 Pro has more power than the less costly iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. According to Apple, the 3nm-based chipset it uses has a 20% better GPU performance than the A16 Bionic.
Additionally, the neural engine is twice as rapid. Overall, it seems that the new chip performs 10% better than the old one. The A17 Pro also includes a USB 3 controller, which is necessary for faster USB-C charging and transmission rates.
